It gives you information like its scientific name, body length, body weight, habitat, description on what they look like and the distribution of different animals. The text used on this webpage is a factual text. The website has facts about nearly one hundred animals. It gives information about Australian animals and also other animals around the world. Like the Asian Elephant.

The text is quite small so it might be a bit hard to read but makes it a little easier with the black print. The web page has a photo of the animal you are learning about with facts next to it. It has a search bar to look for information on other animals and has hyperlinks to research a particular animal. At the top it has the Western Australian Government logo and the Perth Zoo logo has this picture.
These are some of the facts on Koalas on the website.

As you see it the text explains the basic information of a Koala.

You can use this website for S+E, Science and English. You can use the website in S+E to learn about the animals and their habitats you can also use it in Science to study about different animals. You can use it in English by reading the text about the certain animal and write an report on it or answer questions on it.

The grammar they use on the website are adjectives and noun groups. For example they use noun groups like this, Dingos are solitary hunters. Tasmanian Devils are Australia's largest carnivorous marsupial. This has both noun groups and adjectives in it.

Self Reflection
I have never made a blog before so this was really new to me. At first I was going to make a blog about mermaids but it didnt feel right so I changed it to Australian Animals. I had to do it twice because I did it wrong the first time. It was a really great experience making this blog. Even though I had to redo it. In future I am planning to make another blog!
